This is Bubblesort Zine's first collaboration bomber jacket, with mintlodica and her Cute Keyboard Club community. You might have noticed that our bomber jackets have all featured communities (albeit fictitous)—the Git It Gurls, the Electrocuties—as a deliberate statement. There are so many media portrayals of computing as an solo activity done isolated in a dark basement, but this just isn't the reality. The best things (including this jacket) are made through the combination of creative energies, with everyone bringing their own unique experience and perspective to the table.

As keyboard fans, we love the satisfying feeling (thock or clack, depending on your switch preference) of pressing down on keys while typing. We love customizing our keyboards, whether that be adding a cute artisan key or two, accessorizing with a colorful cable, or even building the whole thing from scratch. And as cute keyboard fans, we know we don't have to compromise cuteness for functionality, and we want to bring a little joy to the world of technology and to our desks.

The Cute Keyboard Club aims to celebrate cute keyboards and eliminate gatekeeping in the mechanical keyboard community. Anyone who loves cuteness and keyboards is invited! And though you are welcome to, you don't have to be a literal member of the Discord sever group to be a member of the Cute Keyboard Club—just committed to cute computer peripherals!

Item Details:

- The back and front of the jackets are embroidered by an awesome local one-woman embroidery business (Hi Barbara!) The jacket is a teal satin while the cuffs and embroidery are a contrasting pale pink. The back embroidery features a crescent moon keycap and the front left chest embroidery features a 40% keyboard.

- The jacket is machine washable in cold water. Hang to dry and steam to get the wrinkles out.

- The jacket is 100% polyester.
